S-Tec's operations are entirely related to the production and development of radiometric measuring equipment for industrial applications. Our products and expertise have been developed from similar activities in Norway since the 1960s.

S-Tec develops and manufactures industrial instruments for solids measurement, density/density and solid level, liquids and suspensions. We also offer services related to radiation protection.

INDUSTRIES

Our products and solutions can be used in a variety of industries and applications. Due to our vast experience and the diversity of systems, we are able to offer tailored solutions for each individual application.

SENSOR TECHNOLOGY AS

Sensor Technology AS, (S-TEC) specializes in the production and development of cost-effective meters for concentration, density and level in solids, liquids and suspensions.

The business includes adapting our products to various industrial applications, where radioactive meters provide clear advantages against other measurement principles.

Our activities are also covered by the development of new meters and applications in cooperation with customers and other organizations. S-TEC is located in Sarpsborg, and has the world as a market. Sales are made through agents and distributors, with the exception of OEM customers.

Products and Services

S-Tec's denist meters are designed for accurate, continuous and touchless density measurement of liquids and suspensions in tubes.

DENSITY AND CONCENTRATION METERS

S-Tec's radiometric level meters are designed for reliable level monitoring of liquids and solid particles in tanks and tubes, where conventional level meters do not extend.

LEVEL MEASUREMENT

S-Tec has delivered over 600 source holders for various applications and has good experience in designing, manufacturing and handling them. The installations are both inside and outdoors, in cold as well as hot and humid climates.

SOURCE HOLDERS

S-Tec offers service agreements when supplying meters. The agreements include regular service visits, with a report on the meter's condition.

PETROCHEMICALS AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
This industry represents a diversity of different businesses, from large oil refineries to small sole proprietorships. Thus, there are also a significant number of different applications for measuring level and density.
ENERGY
The migration around meters in oil & gas extraction and processing can be hard. This requires material selection and construction of measuring instruments, for long-term stable operation.
FOOD AND AGRICULTURE/FISHING
Arguments for using radiometric meters in this industry include hygiene. Since the measurement principle is based on "clamp-on" installation, the medium is untouched.
PURIFIERS
Municipal and industrial treatment plants process the wastewater in a majority chemical and mechanical process steps to concentrate suspended material (solids).
MINING AND MINERALS
A number of processes in this type of industry include aqueous or chemical suspensions, where concentration (solids%) is critical management parameter.
PAPER AND CELLULOSE
Density measurement is important in processes related to cellulose production, especially in the recovery and regeneration of boiling chemicals.
