We optimize your processes in vessels and bunkers on liquids and bulk solids
Our continuous level measurement gauges are used to monitor measuring ranges, ranging from a few millimeters up to several dozen meters.
The radiometric level measurements work non-contacting and non-intrusive. As the components are mounted on the outer wall, they do not come into contact with the measured material and are therefore not exposed to wear and tear.
The non-contact level measurements from Berthold are universally applicable on all kind of vessels, reactors, autoclaves or bunkers.
Continuous level measurement – our technology
Based on the radiometric principle, our level measurement systems are reliably operated under extreme conditions. The measurement is carried out irrespective of the material temperature, pressures or chemical properties of the measured material. Interior installations such as agitators etc. don’t affect the measurement performance. Learn more about the functionality and technology of our level measurements.
No matter which measurement task you are facing – we offer you the right solution

Technology Highlights
Sensitivity of our level measurement technologyOur high-sensitive detectors achieve a better measuring effect and can work with remarkably low source activities. Depending on the application the source activity can be reduced by up to 80%. |
Detector stability in continuous level measurementsThe patented method for detector stabilization ensures a consistent measurement performance, reliably compensating temperature and aging effects. |
12-wire systems with separate evaluation units: 2-wire measuring system consisting of detector and evaluation unit, in which the evaluation unit is housed in the control room of the control room.
²Compact probe: Detector with integrated evaluation unit, which is operated via HART or bus communication.
